Credence ID Expands Business Development Resources with a Focus on the Americas
EMERYVILLE, CALIFORNIA, USA, January 27, 2016
Credence ID, a leading provider of mobile biometric and credential reading technology, today announced the expansion of its leadership team with the addition of Robert (“Rob”) Garrigan as its new Vice President of Sales and Business Development for the Americas.
Growing demand for programs that require mobile identification of individuals for travel and refugee management as well as commercial identification and KYC projects has led the company to invest in additional senior leadership. Rob will be supporting the world’s leading solution providers and integrators who are addressing these critical and beneficial programs.
“We’ve seen steep increases in demand from our partner network for our mobile identity solutions for many applications throughout North, Central and South America. Refugee screening programs, law enforcement, voter ID, banking, insurance and healthcare have been particularly active in the Western Hemisphere and Rob brings a wealth of experience to the important process of partner-building”, said Bruce Hanson, President and CEO of Credence ID.
Prior to joining Credence ID, Rob held various leadership roles in sales and business development that focused on expanding client relationships and driving revenue. With over twenty years of experience with technology solutions in the financial services and public safety industries, Rob has a track record of building relationships and delivering exceptional services to customers globally. As Executive Vice President at Thomson Financial, Rob was responsible for successfully relaunching First Call’s business in Europe, increasing revenues over 200% and expanding broker partnerships globally. His success in building teams, expanding markets for innovative technology and accelerating growth was evident at OpenExchange, IntraLinks and Elsag North America. While at Elsag, Rob helped customers such as the NYPD, the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security deploy mission critical ALPR technology that supported border security and counter-terrorism efforts. Based in New York, Rob will be responsible for developing and supporting partners in North, Central and South America.
“Credence ID is a trusted technology provider to dozens of partners around the world and I couldn’t be more proud and excited to join such an innovative and service-oriented organization,” said Rob. “In addition to providing a platform that address the needs of public safety and law enforcement agencies, I’m extremely excited to work with partners who leverage mobile identity as a means of addressing needs of the under-served, under-documented and neglected populations in our society.”
